Media has called Allison Howell Williams a terror queen because of her role in horror films. Her fame was based on her role as Marnie Michaels on the HBO comedy drama series Girls which ran between 2012 and the year 2017. The role garnered nominations from the Critics' Choice Awards. Rose Armitage's performance in Get Out, a horror film which debuted in the year 2017 was her first big break. It earned her nominations to the MTV Movie Awards as well as the Screen Actors Guild Awards.
