Beautiful pics of Tamara Day and Sarah Stiles feet & legs
My son played in the playpen as I worked 12-hour days in sanding floors as well as removing the wallpaper. Ha! Everything was starting to fall into place, however it was not quite done. In order to furnish the house would be an enormous undertaking both in both time and funds. Also, I had go to my favorite stores. My sons, my husband and I were looking for the hidden treasures attending estate sales in order to ensure that my spending was under control. Our weekly routine was to spend Thursday-Saturday walking through garage and estate sales buying a mixture of vintage and modern pieces, as well as spending weekends painting and sanding the driveway. It looked a bit similar to the following... Here's where my love for restoring antique furniture started. After our home was fully furnished, I still couldn't quit! I also had a booth at the market where I sold objects. Then, I ran out of lots of pieces to keep in the room available. My home was where I started hosting open houses, where over 1,000 people were able to come in and purchase any product they wanted on the first floor over the course of a weekend. My company Growing Days began here. Growing Days was more than an incredibly successful business, but also my sweet family. There was a perfect balance between starting a business and becoming a mother. Growing Days fit perfectly. My sweet Nora came into the world in 2013 and was our fourth child. The direction of my business was great, but I was forced to take some time off. I decided to take a break from creating vintage furniture and also slowed my pace and stayed at home to take care of the kids. This was just the thing I needed. Within a couple of months, my phone started to begin to. Many people called me to ask for advice about home improvement or decorating. The majority of them were people who came into my residence at my open house for furniture. I started taking on some clients one at a time taking my time but it wasn't too long before I had multiple accounts and was running an entire home improvement business. When you first spoke to me about my home renovation business, I laughed. When I look back, it still makes me laugh.
