Zazie O. Beetz was born in Berlin on November 21 1991. ZZIE Olivia Beetz was born in Berlin January 1 1, 1991. Jennifer Aniston attended the same high-school as Beetz. Beetz, who graduated from LaGuardia in 2007 went to Skidmore College and studied French. The auditions began immediately following having graduated from college. After a few auditions in Atlanta, she landed the part of Van. Born in Berlin to the parents of a German father as well as an African-American mom, Beetz was raised on the streets of New York speaking both German as well as English at her home. Zazie has performed in theaters around the city since the age of a kid. She found joy and started acting at the age of elementary school. Zendaya landed the Disney Channel breakout role thanks to Zendaya's impressive dance abilities. She was finally cast in her breakthrough role as Rocky Blue, along with co-star Bella Thorne, on the popular show Shake It Up. Zendaya, who was then 11 was a vegetarian when she visited a slaughterhouse while on an excursion with her father. Zendaya tells PEOPLE, "I thought it was horrible, seeing all the animals being packed and ready to be slaughtered. It wasn't how I was eating my meat! The woman has since adhered to a vegetarian diet.
